Inspiration for AuraDecor Designs?

We are so often asked about how AuraDecor Designs came to life, and where our inspiration comes from.
Our story starts a long time ago …

Having both grown up in Cape Town South Africa under the iconic backdrop of Table Mountain, and where their friendship initially began, Liz and Teresa were delighted to find that their paths coincidentally crossed once again several years later when their families came to settle in the UK.

Whilst inspired by the natural beauty of the surrounding English countryside we often reminisced on what we missed most about the free spirited design elements and the relaxed South African way of life.
We came up with the idea to offer a homeware product and gift range harnessing the vibrant colours and interesting textures of our South African roots with the best of classic British design – AuraDecor Designs was born!
This fusion of cultures is what inspires us and is evident across our product ranges.
We are proud to support Fair Trade artisans and strive to offer quality and uniqueness at a competitive price.

With a combination of our diverse skill sets – Liz has a creative background initially as a professional ballet dancer and then as a homefurnishing buyer for several large retail groups in South Africa, whilst Teresa has had a successful career in IT working for both small and large companies in South Africa and the UK –  developing and growing the AuraDecor Designs product range is an exciting and fun journey.
Our current product offering includes Handmade soft furnishings, Ceramics, Lighting, Garden gifts, Beaded wireworks and Health and Wellbeing products.
Our exclusive Set to Impress  table decoration packages for special occasions, including Weddings / Christmas, is a product unique to AuraDecor Designs.

With their creative flair AuraDecor Designs will always offer you something different, something quirky, that ‘must-have’ finishing touch for your home, or the ‘I love it – I have to have it’ item !
